Efficiencyratios measurethe ability a company to use its current assets and manage itsshort-termand long-term liabilitieseffectively. They include the inventory turnover ratio, asset turnover ratio andaccounts receivables turnover ratio(Kaplan,& Atkinson, 2015). They include the netprofit margin, the gross profit margin, the return on equity, thereturn on total assets and so forth (Kaplan,& Atkinson, 2015). Inthe case of Moreno Medical Centre Virtual Organization, I performedan analysis using thenet profit margin. MorenoMedical Centre Virtual Organization has a netprofit margin of -3.82% in 2012 and 0.15% in 2013. Solvencyratios measure a firm`s ability to sustain its businessoperations. Ideally, it shows a company`s ability to pay off itslong-term obligations (Kaplan,& Atkinson, 2015). The higher, the better, whichwould indicate a more creditworthy and financially sound company inthe end. They include debt to equity ratio, debt to total assetsratio and so forth. In this case of Moreno MedicalCentre Virtual Organization, I performed an analysis using the debtto equity ratio. The company has a debt to equity ratio of 0.64 in2012 and 3.72 in 2013. This implies that in 2012 and 2013, the firmwas financed by more debt than equity.
