Mytypical idea-generation process lies in carrying out proper researchto identify some of the problems that the community around me couldbe going through. I would need to have a conversation with my friendsand family members in a bid to identify some of the issues that Imight not have noticed. I would also need to pay close attention tothe news as such a case would present a huge chance for identifyingthe problem. Given the fact that I shall establish several ideas inthe process, I will take my time to analyze the different ideas athand and narrow down to the ones that are more desirable and have ahigh likelihood to be handled in the most efficient manner (Corazza,2014). After that, I would need to identify ways in which the saidproblem has been dealt with by parties in other areas, to determinethe level of effort that I will put in dealing with the same issueappropriately. I shall also need to discuss the ideas that I havedeveloped with other people to establish whether they can be attainedwhen put to use in the long run.
Theidea compares to the one described in TED talks on generating ideas. It deals with having multiple sources of ideas that providealternatives, which an individual can choose from, and come up withthe idea that is more feasible and can be dealt with in the mostappropriate manner. They also provide a way in which one can assessthe alternatives available for the purpose of deciding on what willbe the most suitable option and offer a significant chance of havinga positive influence on the community where a given project may berolled out.
Iwould like to set up sidewalks to address the safety problemschildren face, especially when going to school. The sidewalks shallbe free from vehicular access and will, therefore, provide a chancefor children to walk without having any worries regarding the chanceof being knocked down. This topic would be interesting to otherpeople because it will offer them the opportunity to think about thelong-term road safety benefits that establishing the sidewalks willhave on the children. It shall also enable other people to throw insome weight in offering suggestions on other ways to which roadsafety of children could be enhanced. Other people will also developthe need to push for the creation of sidewalks through engagingdifferent stakeholders such as the town council, who could play ahuge part in the provision of funds towards the exercise.
Thetopic would also be important given the fact that it will raise thealarm to the kind of attention that would need to be accorded tochildren for the purpose of ensuring that they can go about theiractivities in a very safe environment. Besides, almost every familyin my community has children, and as such, enhancing the safety ofthe children will be a crucial topic to be handled.
Ibelieve I can find research on the topic. I shall rely on varioussecondary sources such as books and journal articles that relate tothe issue of sidewalks and safety of children. The case shall beparamount towards the development of proper information that will becrucial in solving the problem.
Inconclusion, the issue regarding sidewalks would be adequately solvedby having different people come on board. It will, therefore, requireone to have a proper understanding of the said problem.
