PLAon Motivational Speaking
Motivationalspeaking has been an important aspect of my career. Based on myexperience, I believe that I have satisfied the requirements and as Idemonstrate here under, I have developed comprehensive knowledge onpublic speaking across various realms such as adversity, self-esteem,resilience and being compassionate with others. In this regard, Irequest for credit in motivational speaking.
Imajor in community and human services where I interact with variouspeople in my daily activities. I have been appointed the leader ofyoung people leadership and management program where I haverepresented the country in several initiatives including working withthe marginalized communities. Over the last three years, I haveassisted several people and especially the young and marginalizedpopulation on overcoming several challenges. My main areas where Ihave been motivationally speaking include resilience, development ofself-esteem, overcoming adversity and being compassionate aboutothers.
Assuggested by Krause and Benjamin (332), I believe in the communityworking together to achieve a common goal. This is not possiblewithout overcoming some of the challenges facing the society thus myreason to encourage and educate the young people and those from themarginalized community on how to overcome such issues. As I reflecton my career and what I am seeking credit for, it is born out ofpersonal challenges in life and how I overcame them. I have beenlucky to meet mentors who have guided me through the journey andovercoming one of the greatest challenges since I was a child,self-esteem. I have gained imperative skills pertaining this courseand which some I have applied in my life challenges. I agree on thefact that it takes a holistic approach to addressing theaforementioned issues, but at the same time, it requires skills andexperience to become a motivational speaker which I can comfortablysay I have.
Inconclusion, I request credit in motivational speaking based on mythree years’ experience which have formed a strong foundation. Ihave been doing this in various setups and populations such as theyoung people and marginalized communities. I believe I have all ittakes to be awarded the credit.
