Reflectionis a procedure utilized in nursing practices that encompass differentprocesses of interacting with a specified situation, for instance, observing, interpreting and responding. The essay paper, therefore, uses two journals which it exploits and reflects on differentsituations through notification, interpretation, and response.Besides, I will give my thoughts on nursing practice situations basedon the context and my nursing background as well as the way suchaspects contribute to my clinical judgment.
Thecases which I noticed, interpreted and offered response
Iobserved that meta-analysis regarding the impacts of meditation onpsychological variables required different theoretical backgroundsthat consider patients from both East and Western nations(Bolier,2013).My interpretation of the situation is that patients’ countries oforigin determine the best conceptual framework which a practicingnurse can use to assess the effects of meditation. According to myresponse, meditations that are beyond the restructuring effects ofrelaxation and cognition can utilize attention, emotional andrelationship measures to bring about an adequate theoreticalbackground.
Reflectionson the situations based on the context and my nursing background
Anexample is that I have been using theoretical frameworks in journalsfrom the United States to assess the meditation effects in patientsfrom Asia and Africa without undertaking nursing practices whichfocus on a specified country. My reflection regarding theoreticalbackgrounds on the impact of meditation of patients from differentnations as the central situation reveals that relaxation andcognition are not only possible physiological variables.
Howthe case context and my nursing background contributed to my clinicalverdict?
Thecase context considers attention, emotions, and relationships amongother psychological variables like cognition and relaxation. It,therefore, offers a platform for the restructuring of theoreticalbackgrounds specific to a given nation or patient(Kunze,2012).Furthermore, I used to majorly focus on literature reviews and useone of the nursing practice models to handle psychological needs frompatients of different countries. I reflect that the two perspectiveschanged my clinical judgments on psychosomatic treatments because Irealized that every patient requires the best fitting theoreticalbackground.
Itis, therefore, fundament for nursing practitioners to offerpsychological medication to different patients by considering theareas of their concern and origin rather than solely depending onclinical articles and journals related to such effect.
