DrivingIn Winter versus In Winter
DrivingIn Winter versus In Summer
Drivingcan be a hobby for many people, but they are likely to face differentchallenges depending on seasons. It is a process that involves theoperation and control of a vehicle in order to move from adestination to another. Effective driving requires a lot ofconcretion and carefulness since each an individual is expected toconsider personal safety as well as the well-being of other roadusers. It is determined by multiple factors, including weatherconditions, the environment, and physical as well as the mentalstatus (Ruiz, 2016). The skills and competencies of individualdrivers help them to overcome challenges that are denoted withvarious seasons. People may report different experiences, but thereare some common problems that are encountered by everyone. Winter(beginning of December to late February) is characterized by poorweather conditions (such as ice and extreme cold) while summer (fromJune to late August) has the highest temperatures that may affect thewellbeing of the driver or the status of the vehicle. This paper is acomparison of driving during winter and summer.
Themain differences and similarities between the driving experiencesduring winter and summer are caused by the amount of precipitationand the level of temperatures. These conditions increase the numberof risks in both seasons. During summer, the level of temperature isextremely high, which lead to the bursting of tires. This risk makesit dangerous to drive a car with worn out tires throughout theseason. The bursting of tires is recognized as among the leadingcauses of accidents during summer (Ruiz, 2016). Many people, including the inexperienced drivers transition from one season toanother without understanding the strength of the tires that isrequired in each period. Old and worn out wheels fail to withstandthe expansion of air during summer, leading to unexpected bursts.Similar accidents are reported during winter, but they are attributedto different reasons. For example, most of incidents that involve thebursting of tires during this season result from a friction betweenthem and the snow. This negative experience can be avoided byensuring that the tires have the capacity to withstand the challengesassociated with each season.
Thepersonal character of individuals is tested in both seasons, but bydifferent factors. During summer, the highways and other smallerroads are full of cars driven by inexperienced individuals. Thisscenario is attributed to the fact that most of the schools closeduring this season. Many students get an opportunity to drive, wheresome of them fail to observe the traffic rules, which makes them arisk and a nuisance to other people (New York Department of Health,2016). Traffic congestion is reported in many roads, which creates asituation that tests the patience of other road users. A driver maybe tempted to break the traffic laws by overtaking, even in the wrongplaces with the objective of saving time. During the winter, on theother hand, one’s level of patience is tested by unbearableprecipitation that reduces the visibility and the ease of driving. This season is characterized by heavy rains, snow, and storms. One isforced by these conditions to drive slowly and be extra careful.Impatient drivers are likely to cause accidents. Although one’spatience is tested in both seasons, most of the conditions associatedwith the summer are caused by human factors while those experiencedduring the winter are attributed to natural events.
Humanbehavior also plays a critical role in determining the type ofdriving experience during the two seasons. Many roads are not smoothin the winter, but trends indicate that the majority of the driversare careful, tend to move slowly, and observe the traffic laws(Doefer, 2016). Therefore, good human behavior reduces the potentialnegative impact of the poor conditions associated with the heavyprecipitation. Drivers are likely to lose remote controls and keys inswimming pools and other recreational facilities during summer, whichis a negative experience. Moreover, there is a high probability thatmany people will drive to the nearby beaches in summer. Driving inthese regions brings pleasure and excitement, but the salty seawaterand moisture tend to reduce the effectiveness of the keys andelectronic parts of the car, which can lead to the occurrence ofaccidents.
Drivingcan be an exciting exercise, but it is associated with numerousrisks, irrespective of the prevailing season. The challenges thatpeople face can result from different factors, including thecondition of the car, weather, status of the roads, and humanbehavior. In most cases, one’s driving experience in winter isdetermined by natural factors due to excess precipitation that limitsthe level of visibility. They also block sections of the roads whilemaking others slippery. Human behavior is likely to make asignificant impact on the driving experience during the summer. Thisseason is associated with an increase in recreational activitiesassociated with a change in the conduct of individual drivers.Although it appears to be more enjoyable to drive during the summer, people should observe traffic rules and respect other road users atall times in order to enhance the level of safety.

Re:A Complaint for a Faulty Refrigerator
OnJanuary 2, 2017, I bought a refrigerator from your local retailstore. Its model`s description is R240AT3 PWH. It has a capacity of240 liter and white in color. The functionality of the refrigeratorwas confirmed at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, I noticed thatit was making excess noise when connected to the power supply. Idiscovered this challenge after reaching home.
Afterreading the documents provided at the time of making the transaction,I discovered that a one year warrant was guaranteed for therefrigerator. I took the product back to your stores the followingday (January 3, 2017) and requested the manager to facilitate thecorrection of the fault or exchange the item with another one.Unfortunately, he requested me to go home with it and wait for themanagement to contact me regarding its decision on the matter. Afterinsisting that I have to be served the same day since the transactionwas costing me money and time, the manager alleged that I hadcontravened the provisions of the warrant by trying to correct theelectric system on my own, which was a false allegation.
Iwould appreciate your help if you organize to replace the faultyrefrigerator. I really need the item in order to reduce the spillageof food products in my house.
Iam looking forward to addressing the issue in an amicable way. However, I will be forced to take a legal action via the Departmentof Commerce or the court if you company fails to respondappropriately.
