Collegesuccess plan with outline
Section1: Challenges
Throughthe different semesters of study, I have undergone several challengesthat have the potential to delay and challenge my completion andgraduation. One challenge is the fact that I come from a financiallymodest family which forces me to hold part-time jobs to finance mypersonal expenses. Due to this, my studies are challenges in threat Ilack enough time to study and research. Juggling a job in betweenschool sessions is also very tiring, and as a result, I find that inmost of the times I am unable to give 100% when I am on studysessions. There is also a challenge of getting to complete my finalterm project on time due to the inaccessibility of my assignedprofessor. The fact he is not always available to guide and assess myprogress threatens the possibility of me finishing it on time forpresentations and final grading for graduation. Furthermore, havingbeen in school for a while now, I have met and socialized with manycolleagues whom I may not meet again for a long time. I find myselfinvited and attending individual farewell parties and get-togethersmore than I should thus limit my time and concentration towards thecompletion of my studies and program. There is also an undone re-situnit from my first year of study that requires attention with thepossibility of some missing marks units. This is a challenge as itmeans I will have to have a larger load of responsibilities in thesession to ensure I can finish in time and qualify for graduation.
Section2: solutions of psychological principles
Throughthe application of stress management, I will be able to manage thestress and hustles of juggling between studies and a part-time jobthrough aspects such as proper time management and time budgetingprinciples. It is also ideal that I have adequate sleep so as torejuvenate and ease my mind to enable me to pay attention to studies. This can be achieved through the application of sleep hygieneprinciples which looks into the management of sleep patterns, behaviors, and an ideal environment to ensuring efficient sleep isachieved (1). I will be able to save on time by applying theprinciple of prioritization. This will act as a guide on whatactivities to cut off my schedule such as attending social gatheringsand parties so as to save on more time for studying activities. Theprinciple of control will also guide on understanding my power ofchoice on the decisions and activities I engage in throughout theperiod. There is also need to apply the perspectives shiftingprinciple in the handling of the many hustles I have to undergo tocomplete my studies. This involves such the application of theflexibility principle to enable meet within the time conveniences ofmy project supervisor to complete it in time (2).I will also apply the use of the optimism versus pessimism principleto enable me to tackle the many tasks and responsibilities I have tohandle in future. This includes the completion of my end project, there-sit paper, any missing marks, and final units with a can doattitude.
